Hey there!
My name is Connie Lamb and let me tell you a little of how this all came about....
I knew from the age of seven that I wanted to be a chef. Food sets my soul on FIRE! You could find me rummaging through the cupboards looking for ingredients to create my next special dish. Sometimes I succeeded... sometimes, well.....not so much.
Still, I loved the way I could create something with simple ingredients that would have people delighted and asking for more. Some of my best memories of being a kid were connecting over the dining room table with my HUGE family.
In my 20's my love of food took me from Denver to Boston and Arkansas back to Denver. Working in small cafes, restaurants, catering companies and country clubs soaking up as much knowledge about food as I possibly could.
Fast forward 30 years and I was now managing four restaurants with different cuisines, consulting with chefs, overseeing a staff of 175, yet... missing the joy in it all! My favorite part of my job was watching people connect over food and seeing my staff become empowered with new knowledge. This is what I was meant to do!
I decided to leave my job and "find myself" and my joy again. I painted, landscaped, dappled in different hobbies but always found my way back to my first love.... FOOD! That's how Bringing the Bites was born. I had people asking me for cooking advice, wanting me to consult and to teach cooking classes. I wanted to help people connect over beautiful food, learn new skills, make special memories with their friends, but most of all, have FUN!
SO....let's have a party and create some memories with a culinary experience your friends and family will be talking about for years.
